Fine. Signed with the blue Nymphenburg stamp under the glaze, as well as "Baltimore" and "Germany" in red. The piece has the painted mark "1302" which is a code for the "Modern S oval" shape, accompanied by the roman numbers "XXV". The red stamps for "Germany" and "Baltimore" give us just few clues about the history of the item. The first is an export stamp, the second is unknown. We bought this in the US several years ago and "Baltimore" might stand for an US retailer, or maybe for a likely quite luxurious hotel of that time. |
